I grew up in small town Pennsylvania, about an hour north of Philadelphia. Needless to say, I am a diehard Philly fan. Once I graduated high school in 2006, I attended college in Hawaii. My first flight ever was to Oahu, by myself. After that, I never looked back. Driven by wanderlust and a deep sense of adventure, I got into hiking, surfing, rock climbing, sky diving, beach volleyball, and spontaneous marathon running (which I don’t recommend). One summer I visited Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater, and instantly became inspired to study architecture. I studied for 2 years at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in their Doctorate of Architecture program. As amazing as Hawaii was, I chose to transfer into the School of Architecture at Penn State.
The change was quite dramatic, mainly the cold weather! But my years at Penn State, turned out to be some of my most transformative. While in my second year of architecture school, myself and four other students entered a business pitch competition. I didn’t think anything of it other than a portfolio booster. Little did I know that winning that competition led to my launch into entrepreneurship.
Our team was young, naïve, full of big ideas, and extremely confident…so rationally, we started a business. We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into and the road that lie ahead. I learned A LOT.
I learned how to balance my bartending job, architecture school, and a startup. I learned how to prioritize my time, multitask, and get things done on strict deadlines. I learned to work smarter and faster, while drinking more coffee. I learned how to promote my business and how to handle clients, especially clients who are mad at you. I learned failure was inevitable and how to pick oneself up from failure. I learned the highs of startup life are high and the lows are lonely and dark. I learned that great ideas don’t pay the bills…execution does. I learned to teach myself new things and became a master googler. I learned that I was just entering the rabbit hole and I would have many more ideas that I would have to bring to life.
After I graduated in 2015, I purchased a one-way ticket to California to attend an AgTech conference. I moved to San Francisco with nothing more than a suitcase. And didn’t think twice about it. I currently still reside in San Francisco because it is an incredible city and I have a wonderful network of friends and like-minded people.
My path through life has been anything but traditional- filled with leaps of faith and calculated risks. One thing I have learned above all else is to trust my instincts and believe in myself. Taking a non-traditional design career path has allowed me to have my hands in every stage of corporate and startup development. Through my experiences, I am able to utilize my multi-faceted design skills and translate that across company disciplines for any objective needed. This allows me to work through solutions that need to integrate diverse elements into a cohesive outcome. Most importantly, I bring hustle and an unbridled ambition to be the best designer I can be.
I’m passionate about thought-provoking, impactful design that enhances people’s lives and positively impacts communities. I’m curiously creative by nature and fiercely driven by a deep sense of adventure. A creative mindset is crucial to solving problems in an ever-changing world. We can make the world a better place through purposeful design. Let’s begin...

Nature. I am curiously creative by nature and fiercely driven by a deep sense of adventure. Nature is both a source of relaxation and inspiration for many facets of my personal and professional life. I aim to immerse myself in nature weekly through hiking, camping, walks through the park, art projects, etc.
Design. I’m passionate about thought-provoking, impactful design that enhances people’s lives and positively impacts communities. I believe we can make the world a better place through design. I value working with like-minded people that can inspire and challenge me to be better. I value environments that induce creativity and collaboration. I take pride in my work and always strive for perfection. Organization and planning are an integral part of my daily routine.
Taking risks. In my adult life, I have taken the path less traveled, and have never been afraid to take leaps of faith. While in architecture school at Penn State, I co-founded an urban agricultural design company with the mission to reconnect people with the nature of their food through living, breathing design.
Pushing myself. I love to continually learn and challenge myself. I embrace opportunities that challenge me to think differently and solve problems in creative ways. I'm my best self when something is on the line and thrive under pressure. I grew up playing sports and am a die hard Philly fan. Staying active and healthy is vital to my mental and physical well-being.
